IARU Region 1 VHF Committee agreed about 433.800 years ago. As it is
plagued with license-exempt gadgets like remote controls (centre freq
433.920, interference levels are 10...20 dB above the sensitivity 
threshold of an NBFM receiver in populated areas), they agreed about 
432.500 as an option this year. This is what we use in Finland now, all
70cm activity is in largish towns like Tampere and Helsinki.

Mostly 1200 bps everywhere in EU, as far as I know.
