I figured it may be RF on the cables. Another ham friend is having the
same occurance, his antenna is on top of his van, mine is on the tool
box on the back of my truck....
I'm placing a ferrite or two this weekend on the unit. It is
intermittant and comes and goes. I only run 5 watts from the D700a.
