[aprssig] Nuvi-350 GPS Not Supported?

Do you get that message all of the time? Or just occasionally?

I've heard it reported once or twice before, and it's turned out to be
RF getting into the cable. There's a resistor on the board that tells
the nuvi what accessory is connected. If you get any current induced on
that wire, it'll fool the nuvi into thinking that some other accessory
(identified by a different resistor value) has been plugged in.

Try to keep it away from your antenna, coil up any access, and try
putting a ferrite or two on the cable.
