I have been playing with easyradio moudles at 19k2 on 433 MHz
It is a pity we can't get a similar product for APRS.
It takes ms to send a packet.
The link seems quite reliable.
At the moment I am limited to 3km's

Just up out of the noise works well for me, with a SignaLink USB
soundcard/interface box

Someone else will have to answer this one... don't have an opentracker.

Comparing an AEA PK232 to the SignaLink USB, I would say no. I have used
both units as mobile and fixed with a Vista based laptop (Intel dual
core processor) just to test the systems out. The SignaLink seems to
work marginally better mobile, probably because the TNC is bothered more
by engine noise.
