Another way to get your current coordinates + elevation is to choose:
Where to? --> My Locations --> My Current Location.
This screen will also let you save a Favorite.
Haven't
seen time-to-go listed anywhere. You can get to the Trip Meter by
pressing the Arrival time at lower left when navigating a route.
This screen lists current direction, speed, distance-to-go, as well as
overall + average speeds and times.

http://bit.ly/garmin_gps_tricks for some real good info on using the Nuvi's. The Garmin_nuvi_Exchange Yahoo group is another good resource.
