It looks like you are on track with the Tripp-Lite inverter. You might
keep your eyes peeled for good-sized UPS units with toasted batteries.
Although 24 and 48V seem more common I believe some are 36V and you
can pull the inverter out of the UPS.

DON'T tap into a large battery bank for lower voltages. You'll lose
significant battery life. The banks charge reliably based on the
assumption that state of charge is heterogeneous over the bank.
