ISS is presently passing over the northern hemisphere during the
mid-morning to mid-evening giving plenty of pass opportunities
for northern hemisphere stations during the day and evening.
Downlink will be 145.800 I assume.
Cheap plug:
But if someone in each state was running APRSdata or DIGI_NED
both of which put out APRS objects whenever the ISS (or other
mobile satellite) is in view, this real-time info would show up
on the front panel of everyone's mobile APRS radio when it was
in view and people coiuld QSY to the frequency listed there on
the radio..
Also their DX STATION list in these radios would get an updated
satellite schedule every 10 minutes.
Of course, I talk about it, and I have not had APRSdata on the
air in 5 years either... Keep hoping somone will write a windows
version... Maybe APRS-KIOSK can do it?
