That has been reported since (I believe) June of 2007. It looks like they
are still moving ahead.
I'm not sure what it might mean for the amateur radio side of Kenwood. JVC
is more into video-related products, at least that's my experience with
them. I'm really curious to hear any news that folks pick up from them at
Dayton.
