Assuming you mean SmartBeaconing, that is good news. I must have
missed the announcement about it. When was it added? I don't think
I've seen such a comprehensive list of features before. I'll bet that it
convinces more than a few people that were thinking of the D710 to
make the plunge.

Does Kenwood have a web page somewhere that lists all of the
updates they have released for the D710? It would be even better
if it was open source so we could add the features we want instead
of what Kenwood tells us we want, but having any kind of upgrade
ability is better than none.
