www,mp3car.com has quite a few of these -
I have one that's motorized, tucks away into a single DIN slot when not in
use... apply power to the ignition wire on the back of it, and it motors out
of the dash and folds up.

Except for a few times during the day when the sun is bright and at just the
right angle, it's pretty readable. If you have space on the dash I've seen
some people fabricate some sort of hood for shade.
