PLEASE (sorry to shout!) avoid the 14.100 area +- 100Hz at least (Dial
freq') as this is internationaly alocated to the IBP, and is a valuable
monitor of propogation.
As earlier, your carier may be "suppressed", but even QRP levels, and
especialy unwanted "noise sidebands" can be heard for long distances...

Hi Guys
John, re the proposed frequency for a APRS HF Net (Primarily for
message exchanges), I have aired the proposal on several groups and have
received various advice on the choice of frequency. At the moment
14.100,200 (Dial for KAM tones & LSB) looks favourite. I am QRV at the
moment to see if there is any reaction or QRM. I will advise the Group
in due course.
