Yes they do, Delorme Serial Emulator. I have had it installed for years and
I can't for the life of me remember if it came on the CD or I got it from
their web site. I have used it on and off to feed Street Atlas, or Topo
along with UI-View32. It is a small TSR and it works well.

I also see some references on my old laptop for a MixW Serial Port Bridge. I
have been inactive for several years now and just getting active again,
forgot most everything (life has been BUSY) but I do believe that is also
free or shareware for a small price.
