Hi Al.
Are you trying to run the native Windows Remote Desktop application?
If so, beware that only XP and later versions support RD.
I would try running RD from 1 PC to another PC on your LAN before trying to
run RD via Cox. That "should" eliminate a lot of possible problem areas.
I've been running Windows RD for years. I couldn't get along without it.

I haven't been able to keep the GO-32 satgate up. Very busy. I'll have the
latest ASatLogger beta version up sometime "soon".
At the moment, my ham activities are centered around getting Remote Desktop
running with Cox ISP, and a DI-604 router. If any of you know of any
"gotcha's" with this line-up, please let me know. (Yes, I enabled RD,
forwarded port 3389, used a DDNS server, and all the other stuff... Even
tried running it without the router.)
