Hello Bob.
Very pleasantly surprised to hear from the Master himself!

You were correct - my unproto string was wrong.

I have revised it to what I thought it was. Now: UN GPSMV via
wide1-1,wide2-1

Result I am seeing on this web site:
http://aprs.fi/?c=raw&call=k7ioc-9&limit=50
  2008-02-09 22:05:14 UTC:
K7IOC-9>GPSMV,WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1,qAo,N7JGX-10:K7IOC [Unsupported packet
format]
 2008-02-09 22:05:19 UTC: K7IOC-9>GPSMV,SEA*,WIDE2-1,qAO,WA7QFR:K7IOC
[Unsupported packet format]
 2008-02-09 22:09:14 UTC:
K7IOC-9>GPSMV,WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1,qAo,N7JGX-10:K7IOC [Unsupported packet
format]

Still seeing the "[Unsupported packet format]" apparently coming from
the gps rx. More details in my original note.

Regards,
Lee K7IOC

But that is not what you are getting. Look below. You are getting a
TOCALL of GPSMV and also the first hop of GPSMV, so there is something
wrong with your setup.

Check your unproto command again.
Bob
