I don't know what your coverage is like, but "more digis" does not
necessarily equal "better network".  In fact, after a point more digis
is a very _bad_ thing as the number of on-air packets grows
geometrically until the network is saturated and useless.

A standalone D7 cannot function as a digi; not sure about the new Yaesu.
