Hi,
APRS doesn't have to be run on national 144.39 mhz
frequency for a local event where you want APRS but
don't want all other APRS stations in the country
filling bandwitdh and rf at your event. Use any other
frequency you want in cooperation with coordinated
data channels in your area. By the way, do the D
Stars have to deal with this issue or are you allowed
to transmit data and voice on the same frequency as
analog voice is used?
