[aprssig] A test for APRS in some lessor traveled Western areas

I've been using one for some months now, when I am on the
road. I have the Merlin S720 -- it usually works, but sometimes I
get out of range of any data service. In larger cities, I get a good
EVDO connection, and it's pretty quick, but even in more remote
areas, I get a connection about as fast as dial-up. It's a very nice
option for what I do.
You'll just have to take it to the various sites and try it
to see if you get a good enough connection for your purpose. I'd
like to hear what you find.
