I use a board from Soekris Engineering that has a couple of serial ports 
and 3 Ethernet ports.  Runs OpenBSD or Linux quite well.

The Tracker2 could probably do what you want, with some programming. 
I'm writing a scripting language for it now, but I don't think it'll be 
quite flexible enough to handle reformatting and passing data between 
the two ports, so you'd have to do that in C.

I'll actually be testing some AT command support sooner or later, to at 
least support SMS on cell phones.
