HI,
Try this and see what it may do:

Replace the slash after the N coordinate with L and
place a # after the W coordinate so it looks something
like this:

;442.175+MI111111z4258.14NL08539.91W#T103.5Dtwn Grand
Rapids 

I saw this on another digi that displays a S Star icon
and letter overlayed.  If you want a L displayed make
the S an L and try it.
