[aprssig] Questions???

I currently have my d700 set up in my car but do not have a GPS Unit. I would like to know if it would be better for the APRS community if I would take and put my D700 in my home and make it a DIGI.

Anyone have any thoughts on this??? I live in Perryville MO currently but plan on moving to IL in 2008.
