Why stoop to PIC programming when a Motorola or Atmel processor can
do a better job?  I'm referring to the Tracker2 and the TinyTrak4,
which are both in beta right now.

The Tracker2 is an OpenTracker which can also receive and digipeat.
It can do custom icons for Garmin.  From Scott Miller, N1VG.
