Also, what about those of us that monitor multiple
frequencies with a single radio?  I've usually got my
D700 or D7 scanning through several memory channels
instead of being parked on one.  I'd have to beacon
every 0.2 seconds or, much like Stephen, have an
external device that can monitor the radio to see what
I've been scanning and then assemble a single, huge
packet with all the frequency data for transmission. 
Sometimes I do have HF in the car as well and I'm not
parked on one frequency there either.  Most often the
radio is just scanning the VFO at high speed while I
listen for something interesting.

Great idea in principle, but I think there are going
to be some problems in practice.
