[aprssig] Where to from here for APRS ?

About impossible for most of them. Very few can be set to run on 
anything but marine VHF channels and both DSC and AIS protocols are 
significantly different than APRS. There are a few Icom marine radios 
that can do 2 meters, but they have no GPS or data capability.
