Watch the Auto-program setting on the D700.  If it's on, the PM's save 
any changes you make.  If off, nothing is saved unless you manually 
force it.

I'm going to be watching it even closer after accidentally overwriting 
my ISS PM-1 yesterday.  Grrrr.
