I pretty much agree.. I use a D7 in my CamelBak pack while riding and  
it works out very well...

I just wish either Kenwood or Yaesu would put out a handheld with the  
functionality of the D7 in a very robust case like the VX-6 or VX-7,  
for kayaking ;-)
