I think it would handle the field as it would 
if it was in the proper "next" position.  OOPS,
Im wrong here.  SInce it is preempting to
a -matching- field further in the path and
is not using the "preempted" field at all, then
my guess would be that it should remain un
touched and just the H bit set.
