[aprssig] Miniature digipeater controller?

I have Tracker2 prototypes in the same form factor as the OpenTracker.
Smaller, actually, since without the header pins it's only a few mm thick.
Trouble is, about half of the units I've assembled don't work. I think it's
because one of the oscillator traces got rerouted by the autorouter and I
didn't notice before having the boards made. Feeding it an external clock
signal works every time, but on the units that won't start by themselves, no
amount of trace cutting and jumpering or jiggering the load capacitors seems
to make it work reliably.
If you don't mind having to come up with an external 32.768 kHz clock
signal, it should work fine. Otherwise you'd have to take your chances with
a flaky oscillator.
