[aprssig] Kenwood D700 and anti-tracker functions

I'm still confused. The D700 *DOES* put waypoints out to the GPS from posit reports. It shows the call & SSID.
  Is this what was asked?

This is "Anti-Tracker" ?! Makes no sense!
I might think "Inverse-Tracker" of "Converse-Tracker, or "Tracker Conjugate" [as in complex-conjugate] could be (poorly) considered.

Man, I agree, kill that name post haste!

  Tracker-Waypoints
  Posit-Waypoints
  Waypoint-posits
  APRS-Waypoints

I seem to recall someone saying the D700 has builtin anti-tracker capabilities, and I notice that it does have both dataIN and dataOUT on the gps cord, but I don't see anything about this in the docs.

Anyone know for sure?

Yes, the Anti-Tracker, D7A, D700A, OpenTracker2, and Xastir all have
this capability. HamHUD too? Can't remember right now.

Ok, you got me. What is/does "anti-tracker"?

Cheers,

It's a device (or program) that parses APRS positions and sends them to a
GPS receiver as waypoints so they show up on the map screen.
