Storm chasers are using APRS to track each other and several NWS offices
are using APRS to track storm spotters using Gibson Ridge radar software
(www.grlevelx.com) and an APRS integration from AllisonHouse (my company).
Screenshot is of an APRS enabled car heading home as a thunderstorm
approaches. http://nexrad.allisonhouse.com/data_services/misc/aprs.php
Probably not worthy of being in the presentation but it's a "nifty" side bar.
