GPS Test
------------------------

This time I used my GPS to see what it can do for me.

GARMIN GPS 72 in hddd.ddddd mode - WGS84 Datum

$GPRMC,154242,V,2734.4576,S,15306.2202,E,0.0,0.0,040106,11.0,E,S*35

GARMIN GPS 72 in hddd.mm.mmm mode - WGS84 Datum

$GPRMC,154416,V,2734.4576,S,15306.2202,E,0.0,0.0,040106,11.0,E,S*32

GARMIN GPS 72 in hddd.mm.ss.s mode - WGS84 Datum

$GPRMC,154456,V,2734.4576,S,15306.2202,E,0.0,0.0,040106,11.0,E,S*36

That seems to indicate that the NMEA data stays the same - its the display
that changes.

Ok, so plugging this into google earth, and modifying the last number:-

$GPRMC,154456,V,2734.4576,S,15306.2202,E,0.0,0.0,040106,11.0,E,S*36
$GPRMC,154456,V,2734.4577,S,15306.2202,E,0.0,0.0,040106,11.0,E,S*36 (added
one to this pos S)

Now I am assuming this is

27 deg 34 minutes 45.76 Seconds ? and
27 deg 34 minutes 45.77 Seconds ?

This gave me about 30 cm's resolution.
