To be clear, I didn't (and don't) consider that to be a problem. It
was designed to do that initially. I'm still considering switching
it back to the earlier method, but if I do that I might do the
cessation-of-transmission method until the remote station is heard
from again.
I really hate the idea of giving up on delivery of the message.
