This is one big bag of bull.... converse mode is a HUMAN interface mode,
it is designed to be used by humans and is different from firmware to
firmware.
This is the reason dosaprs never worked with TF2.7, the most used
firmware in european tncs.
If you want your software to talk to a tnc stick to kiss what is in one
way or another suported by almost all tncs out there, tncs not suporting
kiss are also limited in otherways and not worth their money.
