[aprssig] D700 not showing on internet

OK,
I assumed everyone new that I was only talking
about WIDEn-N packets. Those are all subject
to a 30 second or so timer in ALL digis. Sure
RELAY and WIDE can be duped as often and
as rapidly as you want. Still another reason why
WIDEn-N is where we should be going for network
health... Bob

bit of a bold statement Bob

We have a UI-DIGI digi and a standard TNC dig here.

I can pump out packets and the TNC digi will digiepeat me, but the ui-digi
will ignore dups in 30 secs.

Yes, and it applies to any station. Remember,
ALl digipeaters will refuse to digi a packet within
30 seconds or more of the last identical one.
So just banging away at a digi with the same
packet will only get digipeted once in 30 secs.
Appears to be poor statistics, when it is really
only the digi protecting the network from
abuse. This is another of the New-N advantages.
