Yes, javAPRS support for Tiger maps goes back to before I started
findU, which was when I stopped development on javAPRS and later
passed it to Pete.

Also, I should have mentioned the APRS Map Manager project from
findU, now mostly abandoned because of the availability of Google
Maps, it formerly was readilly available by clicking on the APRSworld
map displayed on the find page. It uses APRSworld for street level
maps, also supports geo file maps, APRSdos maps, and palmAPRS map
formats:

http://mm.aprs.net/map.cgi?
map=APRSworld&call=*&lat=25.72750&lon=-80.30030&range=.1

You can easily get this for any station by enabling the APRSworld map
in find.cgi (use the link in the left column, or add &APRSworld=yes
to the URL, then clicking on the APRSworld map.
