[aprssig] How to send filter info with APRS+SA?

I have been wondering how does one send filter information to APRS-IS with
APRS+SA?  I have tried entering a filter command after the server line in
the APRSserv.txt in the APRS+SA data directory, but nothing I seem to do
works.  

Any help would be appreciated.
