How about we work on a website that is for newbies...  You can put in
information about your location and it will direct you to basic
settings for their APRS station, a way to sign up for the APRSSIG
directly (no TAPR website), and maybe some links to some of Bob's
sites and email addresses for good Elmers?  I'd be happy to help put
this together with help from some others.
