<What ever happened to flow control? Don't these things have flow control
to
stop a buffer over flow?>
Jim, the D7 manual says it has flow control and that it defaults to hardware
flow control, with an XFLOW command being used to toggle between hardware
and software flow control.
That doesn't entirely make sense to me, since the D7 only has a 3-wire
serial conection which in turn just plain doesn't HAVE any lines for
hardware flow control. The default of the radio (hardware flow control)
appears to be physically impossible using the "DB3" [sic] connection that it
has.
Yathink that could be part of the problem?<G>
