So I did. And your point is?

What difference? You spend money on your hobbies. I spend money on mine.
No difference other than hobbies. I try and convince you to do some work
to improve findu. Someone else tries to convince me to do work to improve
something I've done. What difference are you talking about?
> Your response was to try to "convince" me to do all the work
duh! How else does a user of a system get an improvement. You must
convince the developer/owner/whomever it's worth doing (or pay for it of
course). Convince is not some evil word you seem to associate with strong
arming or holding a gun to your head. Calm down and stop insinuating.
Maybe you are overly sensitive with people always volunteering
"improvements" to something they dont manage (eg: findu). Understandable.
I'd appreciate you not lumping me into the "volunteer somebody elses time"
crowd until I've proven myself to be one. Asking for an improvement and
getting a "no" from the developer isnt volunteering your time. Asking for
an improvement, getting a "no" and then telling everyone your a big jerk
for not doing what I suggested immediately would be.

Now who's badmouthing whom.
If the 'true giants' in APRS are not willing to try something new to curb
the bad behavior that's fine with me. Im not going to loose sleep over it.
As a simple observer let me pass on a bit of reality....In a hobbie filled
with apathy education does not work.
