[aprssig] WINAPRS AND A XP MACINE

I just received a Compaq AMD ATHLON XP-3200 + 2.2 GHz. Running window  system 
5.1. I have been unable to load a version winaprs . 2.51 or 2.75 ,  are these 
compatible with XP or due I need to use another APRS  system.
