Hi Scott, yes please..
Actually, it is a 8 pin dip. At this stage of the game, I would gladly
take the LM305 even, and bend the legs to match the dip socket.. THe
original part, LM376, the SK7643, and even the next, NTE1920, are all
discontinued and everyone I have contacted so far, have none on hand..

It isn't just measuring the voltage and replacing it with something of
equal voltage Andy, it is a controller type with feedback to match the
users requirement of intensity.. :-( Thanks though...
