Remember, APRS can do this and display it right on the
front panel of your Kenwood Radio. All you need is one
person in each city to run the APRSdos program APRStfc
and it will put traffic speed objects that display the speed
of traffic at known choke points on the front panel of
your mobile APRS radio..

You can set it up in only a few minutes and just let it run
unattended for months to serve *everyone* in the area.
The only care-and-feeding needed is to make sure the
PC clock remains accurate.
