yes....the dci filter is a good idea, i put on on my  vhf  receiver...its at
a tv broadcast site  with   two one megawatt  erp digital tv  xmtrs and  a
3.3  megawatt erp  ntsc box.  for the money, it works great.

i purchased  the  uhf version a few weeks ago for  a receiver at the same
site.  it has less insertion loss than a  cavity.  if you want to spend
$500  EMR  in phoenix  makes  custom  narrow bandpass cans.
without the dci  the noise floor in vhf is terrible.
